Snackly box – gluten free goodies

Snackly is a monthly gluten free snack box, £7.95 a month.

image

I’ve had Graze boxes on and off for the last few years, but my friend Rehana was telling me that selecting a gluten & wheat free box from them left you mostly with raisins.

Snackly works a little differently from Graze. They curate a range of Free-From snacks from different producers across the UK. Whereas Graze manufacturer all their own treats.

I actually think this is really useful, it lets people know where they can order more suitable treats from.

This month’s box contains a mixture of mostly sweet things, previous boxes have contained more savoury snacks.

– Honeybun’s Minis Snowy Hills cake – ginger & polenta shortbread with lemon sponge topping.

image

– Ceeba Coconut Brittle – no syrup, no butter, gluten free, dairy free.

image

– Peace of Cake London Gingerbread bites

image

– Darling Spuds Handcooked Potato Chips – Crushed Natural Sea Salt

image

– Fudge Kitchen White Chocolate & Raspberry Gourmet Butter Fudge

image

– Plamil Organics Orange Chocolate with Cranberries – 60% cocoa

Do you get any snack boxes? What do you think a good snack box should contain? Let me know in the comments.

BuddhiBox – May + socks!

image

I ordered this through Etsy as international subscriptions are not currently available. It cost £20 but contents comes to approx £60.

I wanted April’s Goddess Yoga box but sadly so many of the items were out of stock so I got May’s instead.

– Sweat house Brands yoga towel and saucha spray – keeps your yoga mat fresh.

– Frisky Fish essential oil blend with lemon & lavender. Smells amazing.

– Below the Oak solid perfume in Vixen. I do like solid perfume and this one is subtle and warm.

– Lasting Smiles Peppermint Creme lip balm. I can’t get the lid off! But an organic, cruelty free lip balm is a win in my book.

– Poppy & Elle set of 3 headbands.

– Amazing Grass shake mix – super healthy blend of fruit, veg, greens and plant proteins.

– Go Macro cashew caramel snack bar – gluten free, vegan, macrobiotic. Not 90% dates ( which is brilliant as I’m sick of all the dates in health bars).

– Yokibics four AM meditation downloads.

– Recipe card – date and almond chocolates

– yoga pose card – bird of paradise

– inspirational quote card

I also got the toe socks from the April box as an apology for not being able to send me the box I asked for, which is very sweet and unexpected.

I do think this box is very good value for money, and you don’t have to be a yoga bunny to appreciate it. I just hope they start offering international subscriptions soon and then I won’t miss out.

The Vegan Kind – Beauty Boxes

Shipped every 3 months, price £18.95 inc. P&P.

image

This month’s box contains;

– Sophyto Total Protection Serum. This is apparently step 4 of 5 in the skincare routine recommended by this firm. So that’s confusing.

– Greenfrog Botanic Geranium & Peppermint body wash. This smells nice and has been added to my shower gel line up in the bathroom.

– Zkin sensitive skin sample pack.

image

Four samples of the products in this range. Cream Cleanser, Smoothing Serum, Relief Moisturiser, Brightening & Hydrating Masque.

– Lunar Lights Harvest Moon highlighter. A very pale, irredescent gold highlighter. Perfect on my very pale skin.

– Crazy Rumors HibisKiss lip gloss in Sunset. An orangey red colour that smells nice too.

I also get The Vegan Kind monthly snack box as part of my eating better plan (I’m not vegan but I don’t eat red meat and pork makes me nauseous).

In those boxes you receive a selection of food items and a lifestyle one (I’ve had body wash, hand wash and a bamboo toothbrush).

My Little Dream Box

image

This month’s My Little Box finally put in an appearance (thanks Mr Postie) and it’s a good un. The theme is dreams and they’ve curated a really lovely box.

The packaging is gorgeous, they pay a lot of attention to details.

Inside is a selection of lifestyle and beauty products.

image

As well as the usual My Little Magazine, there’s a cute cotton bag containing a My Little Beauty branded hair mask, Lip Balm Loved By Lou Lesage in a creamy rouge, Soft Perfumes by Sabe Masson in Copacabana (a solid perfume stick).

image

It also includes two lifestyle items. A necklace in a cloud, which when opened is a charm necklace with ‘Bonne Etoile’ engraved on it. Another cute packet contains a stamp pad and rotating stamp with 12 different designs.

In total the box is worth £58 but I only paid £13 including P&P.

At the moment this is far and away my favourite beauty box. They are always beautifully put together and a good mix of beauty and lifestyle items. The box itself is sweet and reusable, so less rubbish is generated. It doesn’t have the largest selection of beauty products but they’re all fullsize this month.

Prudence & the Crow book lover’s box

image

I don’t think I’ve written about this before, but Prudence and the Crow is a monthly box for book lovers.

Each month you get a secondhand book in a handmade bag with a selection of little treats. This month I got Raymond Chandler’s The Long Goodbye in a little red bag and my treats included stickers, sweeties, a bookmark, tea and a gorgeous Penguin Books necklace, which I wore all day till haircut time.

The box is slim enough to go through the letterbox and is in itself rather lovely, stamped with the logo.

Check out the website to register for a box.
