Fun Stuff in this week’s post

Crafty Creatives #paperhaul this is a great box for stationery nerds like me. Every month you get a themed box of notecards, stickers or washi tape, notepaper, a notebook and postcards or wrapping paper.

I ❤Homes #happymail box is a monthly box full of lovely little bits and bobs. There’s a theme and always a selection of things for you, your home and gifts.

Prudence and the Crow send out a vintage paperback and other book related goodies including library cards, stationery, tea, sweets and stickers in pretty printed envelopes.

Ihearthomes #happymail Beach box

My bathroom has benefited a lot from this box. I have a sort of theme going on, with a blue floor, green and white tiles (nother my choice as we rent) but I have tried to make it a nice place to be.

There is a huge seascape on the wall outside, a canvas selected by the Mr who grew up by the sea and I’ve decorated the bathroom with shells and little wooden boats, much like these.

Those pink shrimps (a pick’n’mix fave) lasted about two seconds.

I’m very into colour schemes (blame it on the wedding planning) and my dream bathroom would be nautical blue and white, like this box.

#happymail Spring box

This month’s #happymail box popped through my letterbox this weekend, bringing a dose of Spring magic with it.

It’s packed full of sweet things to make your home bright.

As well as a cute art print, there’s a gorgeous scarf printed with swallows, which I will be wearing with my Spring outfits. There’s also a flower print coaster, which will be jollying up my desk at my new job, a ceramic butterfly, cute necklace with dinky silver hearts and a little gift for my mum.

It’s a really gorgeous selection of goodies Katie at ihearthomes has curated. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with next month.

Happy Mail – Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Technically this is November’s box but PayPal had a wobble so it was dispatched a little late. But still in plenty of time for this weekend’s Christmas decorating of the flat.

The box is full of fab little festive touches for the home and for presents. I can’t wait to get all these lovely bits up and Christmas up the house, making it all festive and cosy.

From funky ribbon to wrap around your gifts, cute decorations for the tree, a candy cane (I love candy canes) and even little signs to hang up or give as gifts for friends to decorate their homes with. Here’s some more photos.

Happy Mail; Pretty in Pink

October’s Happy Mail box from IHeartHomes is pink themed as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as part of that, every box contains an item from the campaign, and a donation is made on behalf of subscribers from the cost of the box.

The items as always, are delightful. They include a magnetic photo frame from Sass & Belle, oversized owl paperclips, a piggy keyring flashlight and a yummy smelling wax melt.

September Happy Mail – Paris

Although this arrived as October started, September’s Happy Mail is all about one of my favourite places – Paris.

I am definitely a Francophile, a love spawned from childhood holidays in the sunny south, tales of my French ancestors (my great-great-grandmother was called Salome) and the food. I am also quite fond of French literature and of course, the capital.

From the Eiffel Tower to the Sacre Coeur, the patisseries and the madeleines (of which I, a Madeleine, am particularly fond), the metro and the tiny alleyways everywhere.

Katie of ihearthomes has assembled another great little box of goodies referencing the City of Lights.

There’s a notebook for all your Parisian dreaming, with a cute pencil to get them all down.

image

Stickers for the postcards ‘wish you were here’ that you’ll send, and gift tags for those all important holiday presents.

image

Eiffel’s tower is well represented, in a cute necklace and also a 3D model you assemble yourself, perfect for your office desk to keep you reminded of your trip!

image

There’s also a hanging heart, an iron on Bambi patch a lollipop (heart-shaped), a cute poster and a little sign that says ‘Salle de Bain’ (bathroom) to decorate yourself and your home. Except the lollipop, I recommend you eat that, not hang it up!
